Rambagh garden Agra is one of the famous gardens in Agra. It is one of the beautiful  mughal gardens in Agra. It is situated 3 km from the tomb of Itimad Ud Daulah and just 500 m from Chini ka Rauza. It was a pleasure garden in Mughal time as they have built it by their persian background. In persia, pleasure gardens are part of every city landscape. As per Islam, mughals built Ram bagh gardens to create paradise on earth. In Islam gardens are considered as paradise on earth.

Ram bagh garden is also known as Bagh-i-Gul Afshan. Ram bagh garden was founded by mughal samrat babur. Mughal empress Nurjahan, wife of Jahangir made further additions to Ram bagh gardens. It was made like Charbagh pattern. Ram bagh garden has four main divisions made by paths and waterways. Water from the Yamuna River flows over 3 terraces in a series of cascades. Stairs on either side of the water channels, fountains, an island platform and two pavilions on either side of the main water channel, are the main attractions of the Rambagh Gardens. It is said that Emperor Babur was supposed to have been buried here for a brief while before being entombed in his mausoleum in Kabul.
