One of the worst possible bus servie ever Seen:
I travelled in Jaidada on 15th August (Siliguri to Kolkata) and had a booking of 10 (seat no 1,2, B1 to B8). One of the worst managed bus service I have ever seen. Below are the reasons:
1. Despite having valid tickets issued by Kolkata agnet Samir Chakraborty we were asked to get down from the bus by Sandip (Siliguri local coordinator). He said the tickets were old and his online system have 10 different names and not ours for those seats. And Samir’s agency has been cancelled long back.
2. The bus driver told us that this duplication has happened previously also due to Samir. Also seat no 2 is alloted to drivers so it can’t be booked anyway.
3. After contacting Samir he told us to contact Saroj (GM) and he started talking to his offcial.
4. Later Sandip arrived and asked to leave B7 and B8 and take two other seats instead. Now at that point in time it was quite evident that tickets were genuine and Sandip had his own monetory interest in throwing us out of the bus and putting his own passengers over there. His behaviour was pathetic and he was talking in such a way that we were just beggers asking for his mercy to travel at free of cost.
5. The drama reached its climax when two of the local agents entered into the bus and started threatening us of severe consequnces. However once explained they understood the scenario and they were the first person to make a request to leave B7 and B8 for two other alternative seats.
6. Finally it was GM and those two agents who broke the ice and we settled for two alternative seats after Sandip aplogizing to us.
7. During the journey the TV never worked and no blanket was offered.
8. The bus finally reached around 1.00 PM (much later than its promised time) and we couldn’t attend office because of that.
9. Since then there is no one from Jai Dada who has called us up and expressed any apology for the harrasment.

Based on our personal experince we won’t travel with Jai Dada in future and would defintly discourage others if we get a chance.
There is a lot of differnce between just buying some buses, opening up a travel agency and sustaining in the market. With this kind of an attitude I wonder how long your journey would continue.
