arunachal-pradesh-11.jpgarunachal-pradesh-1111 viewsArunachal Pradesh has perhaps the widest diversity of habitats of any of South Asia's major areas. The parks 1800 sq. Kms rise from 650 feet to 15,000 feet above sea level and the forest ranges from evergreen tropical forests through mixed deciduous forest and temperate alpine forests at the upper reaches. Hard access to this area has helped a lot in preserving the biosphere. This also happens to be the eastern limit of the Indian tiger.00000

arunachal-pradesh-21.jpgarunachal-pradesh-2116 viewsHotel Siphiyang Phong in Bomdila is more or less good hotel. The location of this hotel is perfect. Off the highway, all taxis coming into the town or even leaving the town pass next to it. Rooms are decent. Min 1200 rs + taxes for basic room. We had got the semi deluxe room for 1770 rs (incl of taxes). It had an attached bathroom with a geyser, an old TV & a room heater. Restaurant closes very early (9 pm or so). Food is good00000
